We looked at the word "wait" from a human point of view; now let us take a look at it from God's point of view.
The scriptures speaks for themselves. Once you have read and studied them, you will see how important it is to wait on the LORD.
Read the following Bible verses:
Lamentations 2:25 (NKJV) "The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him."
Psalm 25:3, (NKJV) "Let no one who waits on You be ashamed."
Psalm 25:21(NKJV) "Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You."
Psalm 37:7 (NKJV) "Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass."
Psalm 37:9 (NKJV) "For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the earth."
Psalm 106:13-14 (NKJV) "They soon forgot His works, they did not wait for His counsel, but lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tested God in the desert."
Proverbs 20:22 (NKJV) "Do not say, "Í will recompense evil," Wait for the LORD, and He will save you."
Isaiah 40:31a (NKJV) "But those who wait on the LORD, shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles."
